The VINGA Carve foundation
An eFoil opens up a particular kind of session: building speed, lifting above the surface and linking turns through changes in balance. Electric propulsion supplies the drive, so the ride does not depend on catching a wave.
SHADOW CARVE uses the Awake VINGA Carve platform, with a 77-litre board, an 8.2 kW electric drivetrain, a reinforced 80 cm mast and BRABUS Cloud Wings. Awake's Linear Jet propulsion and Click-to-Ride system are part of the package.
The published figures are up to 45 km/h and up to 120 minutes of riding with the Flex Battery XR4. These are manufacturer maximums under optimal conditions; rider weight, speed and conditions affect the time you get on the water. BRABUS also specifies a dedicated Performance Mode.
BRABUS in the details
The design extends across the board, mast and components. Red lines pick out the carbon-fibre finish, while the high-grip deckpad carries BRABUS's triangular pattern. Red details continue into the battery and mast cavities.
The most distinctive element sits beneath the drivetrain: an integrated 2,000-lumen red LED system that casts colour onto the water. In the official dusk imagery, it gives the foil a visual signature beyond the graphics on the deck.
For someone drawn to BRABUS, that consistency is part of the appeal. The edition carries the same design approach across the equipment you see when unpacking, assembling and riding it.
